Automation Test Engineers are constantly challenged to understand complex trading strategies, uncover software issues in our trading platform through testing and to provide feedback that can help enhance our end user experience. For this role, we are looking for an individual to help ramp up our automated test coverage for our various areas of functionality.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop test plans and test cases based on application requirements and technical specificationsExecute test plans and scripts to ensure alignment with standard business processesDocument IT applications defects in a bug tracking system and report defects to software developers and applications teamPerform functional, stress, integration, and regression testing on application solutionsIdentify, analyze, and document problems with program function, output, online screen, or contentMonitor bug resolution efforts and track successesConduct post-release/post-implementation testingParticipate in the design review of new solutions and updates to existing applicationsRequirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer engineering or information technology.

• Fluent communication in English.

• Experience with scripting automated test cases.

• Strong understanding of software development life-cycle and test engineering principles and processes

• Strong analytical skills and commitment to continuous testing improvement
• · BSc/ in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fields
• · Proven work experience as an Application Tester or similar role
• · Familiarity with different types of testing (Integration, System, Functional, etc.)
• · Knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
• · Experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases
• · Experience with automated testing tools is a plus
• · Ability to document and troubleshoot error
• · Knowledge on EDI systems

Nice to have:

• Experience working in financial industry, Futures trading systems or TT trading software.

• Knowledge of FIX Protocol.

• Experience with Linux.
